What if your socks could make a difference?
August 2014 saw the launch of our Atlas for a Cause initiative. Its premise? Pay what you want for a limited-edition pair of red Atlas socks, with 100% of revenue going to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. BBSMA is especially close to our hearts: MOS co-founder Aman has served as a Big Brother mentor himself, experiencing firsthand the game-changing role that the organization plays in children’s lives.
The special-edition Atlases sold out entirely, raising a staggering amount of support for BBBS Metro Atlanta’s STE(A)M Truck program, an initiative focused on facilitating STEAM (Science,Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) access and experience to Bigs and Littles through engaging projects and hands-on activities in a mobile workspace. By building grit and perseverance, creativity and innovation, and collaboration and teamwork – all skills critical to success – the program aims to increase college and career readiness, ultimately preparing its participants to realize the bright futures they deserve.

As the art and tech industries continue to merge, heading out into the world with a strong STEAM skill set is more important than ever. Invention is largely dependent on both science and creativity; and as a company built on this very fusion of fashion and technology, we couldn't be more excited to help support STEAM access through empowering initiatives like this one.
We look forward to continuing the cause with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and with you – the best customers a company could ask for.
Thanks again, everyone, for all of your help.
Stay Cool,
Ministry of Supply
