Performance Clothes for Work

Engineered to perform like magic.
Comfortable, Convenient, Durable & Sustainable.

Our Story

Inspired by Invention

Our brand, Ministry of Supply, is named after a secret agency from World War II. This agency was where Charles Fraser-Smith, the real-life "Q" from James Bond movies, created special gadgets and clothing for British soldiers and spies. Inspired by Fraser-Smith, we strive to be your modern-day Q, equipping you with innovative apparel for your everyday missions. Like Bond, we hope you stay sharp, but ready for anything.

Sustainability

Climate Neutral Certified

Since 2019, we've measured and offset our carbon footprint while dramatically reducing emissions to achieve our Climate Neutral certification, making huge strides through the optimization of our manufacturing, materials and supply chain.

PFAS/PFC-Free Water Repellents

Most of our industry uses PFAS/PFC-based water repellents - but growing research indicates that these can negatively affect our endocrine/hormonal system. As of 2022, we have completely eliminated Perfluorinated Carbon treatments from our product line.

Bio-Based Materials

While we will never use animal hides, we use several bio-based materials across our product line - Merino wool, coffee beans, and natural/synthetic variants of viscose and polyester. The resulting fabric blends offer natural moisture and odor management without the use of harmful chemicals.

Recycled Materials

Recycled polyester paired with solar-powered fabric milling can reduce a garment's carbon emissions by over 50% compared to traditional methods - and we regularly revisit our line to incorporate more and more recycled content into our business.

Ethical Manufacturing

Our products represent a mix of convention and invention, pairing time-honored techniques with modern innovations. This wouldn’t be possible without our manufacturing partners - hand-selected for their skilled teams, advanced machinery and incredible technical know-how.
